ASUS Zenfone 2 #Divasmeet

I’m back again but not with the usual review posts. I’m here today to talk about ASUS #Divasmeet that I attended recently. I’m sure you must have seen a few updates on my social media channels regarding this already! 😀

When I was invited for ASUS #Divasmeet, the first thing that came to my mind was – how and what would I talk about if I attended the event because frankly speaking I don’t talk technology on the blog 😛 Only Mr.Jeromy does. And I couldn’t ask him to go as it was exclusively for ladies 😀 But I thought for a split second that there would definitely be a catch as to why only ladies are invited so I was there to find out just as curious as you are right now 😛

So why were only #Divas present there? Because we were talking about ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe features but talking more in detail about ASUS Zenfone Deluxe 2 camera features for selfie freaks 😛 Which reminds me that Ferrol has written an article about ASUS Zenfone 2 here 😀

So we are just going to concentrate more on features that we ladies love! Yes, the obsession with camera and pictures 😛

The event started with ASUS MD Peter Chang talking about all the ASUS products that were released previously as well as about Zenfone 2 Deluxe. Here’s what he said:

After this, we ladies were given a chance to get hands-on experience with ASUS Zenfone Selfie, ASUS Zenfone 2 Deluxe and ASUS Zenfone Laser.

What I absolutely loved out of these 3 is the ASUS Zenfone Selfie phone. I’ll tell you why 🙂

• Firstly, I went bonkers when I heard that all you have to do to get the camera on-roll for a selfie is, just swipe an ‘S’ on the screen. 😀 How cool is that?
• If that wasn’t enough, they also have a feature called “Beautification mode” which you can use while clicking a selfie that could make you look prettier and also adjust to even dim light to bring out a great picture!
• Last but not the least, the phone comes with “Lolliflash” . What exactly is this? It’s a tiny equipment that you can fix on your handset that served the purpose of flash for selfies. Forget those days when selfies were dim and blur because of bad lighting! 😀 Selfie flash ie Lolliflash is here 😉

After we were done with the briefing which we thoroughly enjoyed, we were in for a surprise. Diva on Duty VJ Anusha Dandekar was the guest of the evening 😀 And let me tell you, she was so full of life and energy 😀 Since she is already known as a ‘Selfie Queen’, she was here to share her tips on “How To Take A Perfect Selfie”

Some of her tips were:

Having perfect makeup for a selfie. Anusha told us how she uses MAC Studio Fix on her face and she loves combining two different coloured foundations to get a perfect colour for her skin tone. She also uses MAC mineralizer for some sheen on her cheek bones. Yes, mineralizers are also something you can use for strobing. Also, for under-eye dark circles, she says avoid using a lot of kohl under-eye. She uses a lot of mascara for her eyes and nothing else. Fix the makeup with MAC Studio Fix spray and blend using a beauty blender. 🙂 That’s Anusha’s advice for selfie makeup!

Anusha also spoke about how it’s important to not be selfish in a group selfie, one should try to make sure everyone else looks good in the selfie as well by angling the camera. Top angles are the best for selfies where your body looks smaller and it accentuates your eyes as well as make one look thinner 🙂

After these wonderful tips, the event concluded with some activities like “Walking Selfie” where a few volunteers walked the ramp all while posing for a selfie 😛

We also had an activity with funny and whacky props where the main objective was clicking a perfect and happy group selfie with ASUS Zenfone Selfie phones. We loved being there to witness the ASUS #Divasmeet and we now completely understand why guys weren’t invited here 😛
