How are you all? How is summer treating you? Bangalore has finally started to show traces of shower amidst these scorching summers. 🙂 Back to that awesome Bangalore weather we always talk about!
But with the varying weather conditions, my skin for sure is confused as to how to behave 😛 The worst of them is chapped lips. Chapped lips is something I personally don’t like because I LOVE lipsticks and my favourite lipsticks on chapped lips, well… not a good sight! If you have read my beauty product reviews previously, you know I cannot do without lip balms. While I usually stick to the ones I love, I do like experimenting and trying new products launched to see if it is a hit or a miss. My take on Street Wear Color Rich Smoothies Lip Balm in Pink Pout
Street Wear Color Rich Smoothies Lip Balms come in four different shades of Plum Pluck, Mocha Muahha, Pink Pout and Coral Kiss. I got to try Pink Pout 🙂
Packaging: Street Wear Color Rich Smoothies Lip Balm in Pink Pout comes in a black twist-up case packaging with the shade name written and printed in the same shade as the color of the lip balm. The cap is sturdy and hasn’t loosened up a bit so I can safely say it is travel friendly and can be carried in the smallest of purses. They are also priced reasonably!
Texture and Fragrance: The texture of this lip balm is soft and goes on the lips without any tugging. It glides on easily and adds in the right amount of product needed. I love how this smells, minty just like a pack of gum 😛
Results: I have been using this for quite sometime and love how it instantly adds moisture to my lips. Since it’s minty, it instantly cools my lips and locks in the moisture it requires. The shade goes on light pink on application and is lightly pigmented. The shade adds a bit of sheen to my lips and keeps it moisturized! It stays on for almost 4 to 5 hours after which you can re-apply as required. 🙂

For someone who loves stocking up on lip balms, I expect it to work extremely well and this has definitely met my expectations! 🙂 It adds a bit of color to my lips and doubles up as a lip tint too.
