Hi everyone ๐
Happppy Monday! While you must be up with Monday blues, trust me mine’s worse. You at least slept well through out the night right? ๐ I had a sleepless night and would have already completed 4-5 hours of work by the time you’ve gotten down to read this. I can imagine how slow the day would go considering zero hours of sleep. *rolls eyes* But then I thought, what the heck, what if I couldn’t get any sleep, I’ll utilize this time to sit and write down content for the blog. At least that’s productive! *Pfffft*
Anyhoo, let me stop ranting now and share my story about this unique piece I found at H&M a few months back. It is a simple black top with a boat neck that goes with almost ANYTHING I wear. Yes, anything! When I bought it, I never thought it would come so handy. ๐ You must have already seen me wearing this top in Talk Nerdy To Me series.
What I really like about this top is that I can wear it tucked in and tucked out without having to worry about how it looks on denims, culottes, palazzos etc. This has become a favourite as you can already see ๐
Here, I have paired the top with these vertical striped palazzos from Splash that can be worn for a brunch. I finished the whole look with my favourite pair of wedges from Charles & Keith.
For the next one, I paired the black top with this tie-up culottes from Zara that I fell in love with at first sight. If I was heading to office, I would have finished the entire look with a pair of nude stilettos like I always do. But I went more casual here by adding on a pair of white slip-ons from H&M.
Nowadays, I have noticed a slight change in the way I shop. I have started to stock up on a few essentials rather than indulge myself in impulsive shopping spree. Slowly and steadily building my wardrobe with some statement pieces. ๐
What are your thoughts on this? Let me know in the comments below!

I used to have a striped top like that. I could wear it with anything But then sadly I outgrew it.
Love everything about this post! But I like the first look more.
Those pants are everything! stunning!
I love the second look mostly because of the grid pants! <3 And yes there is nothing a basic black top can't be paired with ๐
