Hi everyone 🙂
Hope you are in the pink of health and have had a fabulous start to 2017 😀 Mine definitely was considering my first event of the year for the blog turned out to be trying Swedish based brand, IsaDora Cosmetics for the first time.
If you are living under a cave and haven’t been checking our social media updates (which you SHOULD :P), IsaDora Cosmetics launched it’s first outlet in India at Shopper’s Stop, Mantri Mall, Malleshwaram. For everyone wondering about brand IsaDora, here’s a little introduction from their website:
Created by Vigstrand and Brerndtsson in 1983, Isadora is a Swedish brand, that comes on board with both top of the line technology and fashion sensibilities.
High quality, product safety and leading color collections at favourable prices represent the core and success of IsaDora’s concept. IsaDora closely follows the fashion industry and lets latest trends and fashion inspire our assortment.
4 Key pillars which makes IsaDora products unique and safe are –
- Quality – Most of our products have Active Ingredients

- Clinically tested – Finished products are tested on Human to ensure safety
- Product Safety – IsaDora products only contain pigments and other basic materials that comply with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), EU directives and Japanese regulations.
IsaDora is among the top performing brands where represented and the number one best selling make-up brand in Scandinavia. IsaDora is also the priority brand at the European leading perfumery chain, Douglas.
I had heard about IsaDora Cosmetics prior to the launch but never had the chance to try it in India. I visited the store for a makeover and got a wonderful bronze/golden eye makeup done with fall lips by Makeup Artist and Trainer, Sadaf Shaikh. Sadaf also gave me an introduction on the entire IsaDora product range 🙂
The first thing I liked about the brand was that it was cruelty-free. IsaDora Cosmetics is known for being fragrance-free as well. I also realized when I heard the term fragrance-free that, here in India, we end up giving so much importance to how a skincare/beauty product smells. It’s ‘Indian’ tendency to try on a little portion of the product on hand and see how it smells, don’t you agree? 😛 I personally don’t like it much when my makeup has fragrance though. Fragrance is something I prefer only in body lotions and shower creams.
I got to try some of their new launches from the foundation, mascara and lipstick range. My favourites were –
- IsaDora Insane Volume Lash Styler mascara
- IsaDora Nude Cushion Foundation
- IsaDora Lip Desire Sculpting lipstick in the shade ‘Mulberry’
- IsaDora Gel Nail Lacquer
I will be doing detailed reviews on each one of these in the coming weeks! Sharing my first impressions of the products after using it for a week now –
IsaDora Insane Volume Lash Styler mascara
If you are looking for some crazy volume, this one is a must try! I fell in love with the mascara wand that is dual sided which serve different purposes. The hollow bristle is to extend your lashes and to add volume while the oversized bristle is to deposit mascara.
IsaDora Nude Cushion Foundation in ‘Nude Almond’
I like to use this foundation on days I want to achieve that ‘no makeup’ look. It’s super easy to blend and the shade is a perfect match to my skin tone! This foundation gives that beautiful airbrushed glow ♥ The coverage is light to medium and can be built easily without looking over the top. My go-to foundation these days! A detailed review on each of these will be up as and when I use it. 🙂
IsaDora Lip Desire Sculpting Lipstick in ‘Mulberry’
These sculpting lipsticks from IsaDora gave me instant fuller lips on application. It’s the art of applying that does the trick and creates volume to your lips. I got the shade in ‘Mulberry’ which is a deep wine red. More like, Marsala! ♥ Gorgeous, GORGEOUS colour and so pigmented. One swipe and I am good to go. Easily stays for 6 to 8 hours and doesn’t bleed outside the lips. (BIG yah for that).
IsaDora Gel Nail Lacquer in ‘Classy Nude’
I have been wearing this shade on repeat for weeks now. This is a pale nude shade that is easily one of the prettiest I have tried. With a top coat, this gel nail lacquer stays for 6 to 8 days.
Overall, I had a great time just getting to know about IsaDora’s product range. I am already loving the new launches and will definitely look for more options from the range to try now.
Fun fact: Most of IsaDora products have fruit extracts in it! 🙂
Also, watch out for separate reviews on these products and let me know which you want me to review first!
