🌊 Tofino - a surfer’s paradise

🌺🌸 Tofino is colder as it’s the extreme end of Vancouver Island that faces the ocean and off Canada’s west coast. It is definitely a surfer city and you can tell that with the aesthetic of the town 🏄‍♀️

🏄‍♀️ Surf shops at every corner and coffee shops surfer themed / owned by surfers are a common sight

🌊 the waves on Tofino beach is something I’ve never seen before ✨

🍔 Had the best salmon burger and fries at @wildsidegrill

⛴️ 🌅 On the way back from Tofino island, I got to see the most epic sunset ever amidst a very gloomy day. I had goosebumps just witnessing thay sunset and it felt like the perfect end to our island trip

the summer that was ✨ 🏝️ on our Tofino roa

the summer that was ✨

🏝️ on our Tofino road trip, we stopped by the Taylor river rest area which is a swimming hole that makes you feel like you’ve transported to an amazing tropical destination. One of the best stops on the road trip to Tofino ✨The river has mesmerizing blue-green, crystal clear waters 🌊

🚗 the drive gets even more insane as you are closer to Tofino 😍 views on views of mountains 🏔️

🐻 we also spotted a bear along the way. We were on the highway so we couldn’t stop but it was a quick glance along the way

🏔️ found a dream camping spot with a view at one of the logging roads in Ucluelet

🍚 Major shout out to @ukeepoke for making some delicious poke bowls that we devoured on our camping days

🏕️ this was my first camping experience which happened to be in the wild 😂 but thanks to our friend @vwork_creations who made it so wonderful 🙏🏽 he is a pro and made sure we were all well equipped for our camping at Tofino

the summer that was ✨

this was all on the same day when we went to Vancouver Island and drove on the island towards Tofino where we decided to camp 🏕️

☕️ Found the cutest coffee shop in Nanaimo that morning @vaultcoffee Just look at the interiors 😍 the coffee was also 👌🏽

🐐 On the way to Tofino, we stopped by to check out Old Country Market in Coombs where the goats are on the roof, just grazing and chilling lol You can eat at the restaurant there with goats grazing on the roof 😆 @goatsontheroof

🌳 We stopped to explore Cathedral’s Grove which has the oldest and tallest trees in Canada 🇨🇦 It’s a humbling experience to stand next to these incredibly tall and gnarled tree trunks, some as wide as a car. 🚗 or some even wider I think.

🌯 Had some delicious chimichangas at Emilianos Mexican food truck with a view 🏔️

This was just half a day on Vancouver Island and honestly the best time on my trip 👌🏽

the summer that was ✨

🌅 golden hour at Kitsilano Beach, Vancouver

🌊 There’s quite nothing like park hangs and dancing with a sunset like this 🥰 This was a weekday evening. Walking on this beach really did show me how much the people on the West LIVE IT UP after work hours.

🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️ I saw people cycle/ drive / walk in directly after work and sit by the shore enjoying the sun.

💃🏽 While watching that beautiful sunset, I also got to see some dancing on the Kitsilano Showboat which was just incredible and heart warming to watch. My warm fuzzy heart was happy.

It’s truly the little things in life 🥰
