It is officially lip gloss season, y’all! With holidays right around the corner, a good lip gloss with my favourite turtleneck dress is all I need. We’ve survived it all this year and honestly, it has taught us a lot. I’ve learnt how to find happiness in the most simple things these days that I wouldn’t have probably done last year. So today, it’s these lip glosses that I’ve been loving lately. Let’s talk MORE about the new BITE Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss!
Ever since BITE Beauty became a clean beauty brand, they’re always pushing boundaries with each launch. With their latest launch, BITE Beauty’s Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss is the first of its kind to replace typical harsh plumping ingredient such as stinging bee venom or burning capsicum with a clean formula infused with antioxidant rich cinnamon oil!
It has a delicious smell because of the cinnamon oil (and taste – not recommended to eat but we all know how easy it happens with lippies). BITE Beauty’s Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss comes in 8 shades.
The glosses packaging from the Yaysayer collection is very innovative. Unlike most lip glosses that have a doe foot applicator, these lip glosses come with a superslick tip that make the formula glide on easily. These lip glosses are pigmented enough to give that sheer flush of colour on your lips and the perfect shades for the fall season. These glosses can be used on their own or as a glossy topper for your favourite lipstick.
The word “Yaysayer” comes from saying “YAY” to cinnamon oil, a rich antioxidant used for natural looking plump lips and saying “NAY” to stinging bee venom and burning capsicum that is mostly used in plumping lip glosses.
In addition to its spicy-yet-sweet flavour, it’s packed with antioxidants for a fuller, healthier-looking pout.
This helps lips feel hydrated and nourished.

How to Use
CLICK. PLUMP. SHINE. The packaging is designed with an innovative, superslick tip that allows the formula to glide on the lips smoothly. Once done, the tip can be wiped clean for a fresh application every time. So you twist to get the gloss up and swipe!

My experience with BITE Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss
I’ve tried the shades Cider Donut and Rose Meringue in the collection and the shades work well for all skin types. Cider Donut is a beautiful nude (shimmering golden cocoa) that goes on sheer and the shimmer doesn’t look OTT because it’s very fine and gives a nice glossy shine. This shade can be used on its own or as a glossy topper on your favourite matte lipstick. Rose Meringue is a warm rose colour that adds a bit more colour on your lips and can be worn on its own or as a glossy topper too.
How long does it last? Glosses usually don’t stay for longer hours so I would say 3-4 hours maximum. This is after testing it during a work day – which involves a morning beverage, breakfast and sipping on water when I need.
What do I love the most about them? I love that they are non sticky. I hate sticky glosses and this doesn’t feel like it when applied. It feels like a lip balm because of how hydrating the formula is. I also love that these have cinnamon oil in it (I love everything cinnamon so that’s a win-win for me).

Cons of BITE Beauty Yaysayer Plumping Lip Gloss
- Personally, I don’t mind the price point but some might find this a bit on the higher end
TJD Verdict: If you are new to lip glosses, get one of these and that is all you need in lip glosses. If you have already tried lip glosses earlier, this one stands out because of its formula. So give it a try!
