How is your week coming along? Thanks to Oscars 2015, my monday blues flew away 😛 Although I had to go to work, I did catch up on all the red carpet glory and “who-won-what” at the Oscars! And it’s but obvious that I would make a post for you all so that you don’t miss out on the same ♥
Like always, Oscars was a grand event! Celebrities walked on the red carpet in their best attire and some of them walked out with the coveted Oscar in their hand! 🙂 While Oscars is just about glamour for some of them, the lucky ones who are nominated walk in with high hopes of grabbing an Oscar.
Without wasting much time, let’s have a look at all your favourite celebrities on the red carpet 🙂

Actress Anna Hendrick rocks this peach gown! What I really love is the collar embellishments and her hair-do 🙂
Actress Cate Blanchett chose to wear a velvet figure hugging black gown with worn out sleeves giving a feminine yet rugged look. 😉 The turquoise compliments black really well…I’m sure you would agree too.
Actress Chloe Moretz in a strapless Miu Miu gown. I have a thing for pockets skirts and gowns. For me, tucking your hand in and striking a pose gives so much more confidence to your personality. And look how chic Chloe looks. To top it off, the bling earcuffs are droolworthy! ♥
Fifty Shades of Grey Actress Dakota Johnson in a Saint Laurent one-shoulder gown. Like they say – when in doubt, wear red. She for sure knows how to stay safe. 😛 Love the embellished sleeve and the “oh-so-cute” fringes!
Actress Emma Stone never fails to WOW us! If we were still in a hangover over her Elie Saab jumpsuit at the Golden Globe Awards 2015 here , she just outdid herself here in this gorgeous lime green number! 😀

- This time, Oscars saw a mix of colours but mostly icy shades became a trend.
- While some tried experimenting with their looks, others stuck to the basic black suit and that was kind of disappointing to see although they did look good. 😛
- Nude hues have taken the awards season by storm. Like here at Golden Globe Awards 2015 and Flimfare Awards 2015 here
- Metallic hues are still a hot favourite.
- Makeup is very spring/summer 😀 Bright lips are the highlight!
- Reds have again proved a safe option to opt for. 😉
It was super hard for me to choose this list because everyone looks different and unique in their ensemble. But these are the ones I was bowled over with and that are in vogue with Spring/Summer.

For men, I have chosen the ones who tried experimenting with their looks and aced it! 😛

So this time, instead of only doing a cover of all that glitz and glamour on the red carpet…we wanted to list down the winners for you guys. Because at the end of it, the ones who walked away with that beautiful Oscar in their hands is what matters 😉

Like always, Oscars was an extravagant affair and I’m still in awe with some of the red carpet looks. The Oscars After Party saw another set of looks which you can definitely check out when you are free.
