Street Style in collaboration with Max Fashions Spring/Summer 2015 Collection

Howdy 😀

How are you all? I’m sure you’re doing great, thanks to a super weekend ♥

Today, I am here with a post that screams STREET STYLE! 😀 Coco Chanel rightly says “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we LIVE” I can’t agree more 🙂 It’s about what you love to wear, it’s about how you would want to flaunt it – no, I ain’t talking about flaunting skin, I’m talking about flaunting those clothes you love with an attitude to die for 😉

So, when Max Fashions gave me an opportunity to express what my idea of street style is living in a city like Bangalore with their Spring/Summer 2015 collection, I was elated. The icing on the cake is that the one who expresses street style in true sense gets a ticket to Paris ♥  #Maxroadtoparis 😉 Bangalore is a place where the weather is so unpredictable that it would be so humid and hot when you step out in the morning and pouring heavily on your way back home 😛 So when I styled these outfits, the only thing I kept in mind is comfortable wear, fun , summer and of course street style 😀

Max Fashions is a brand that has already been a part of my wardrobe for the longest time now. Their clothes are chic and at the same time affordable! I call this post #Maxstreetstyle because these outfits are from their Spring/Summer 2015 collection. I have loved working on this one as I am closely associated with Max Fashions as their consumer for so many years! 🙂

The first outfit I chose keeping summers in mind is this easy-breezy school girl look. I call it “back-to-school” dress because it reminded me of my school uniform 😛 Nostalgia! I’m sure you agree too.

Summers are all about pastels so I chose this pastel blue dress for this look. What I loved about the dress is it has a cinched waist over which the top portion of the dress falls beautifully. A boon if you would want to hide any flab 😛

I paired it up with brown loafers and some pastel statement jewellery! Threw in a tan messenger bag to compliment my outfit.  I am not someone you’d see with sunglasses very often but it was just too hot when we were shooting for this one so put on my aviators 🙂 For my hair, I just let it lose with a puff on my crown area.

The second outfit I chose was a floral kimono blue top with denim shorts 🙂

I kept it really simple because I wanted the top to do all the talking! One can never have enough of floral tops in their wardrobe and this one just makes it to my “Most loved” list ♥ The kimono sleeves with a tie up at the waist makes it look so versatile and chic to flaunt your waist size 😉 Summers are all about wearing clothes that are comfortable and this fits that bill perfectly!

I paired it up with my black ballerinas and kept it minimal with jewellery by throwing in a long pendant. For my hair, I did a bun with side swept hair.

The last outfit I chose is for all those college goers out there 🙂 I personally love styling fresh cotton tunics with jeggings or denims and with this, I have done just that! I paired a polka dotted tunic which is so vibrant in its colours with blue jeggings.

For that ethnic vibe, I added a nose ring, jhumkas and some bangles! Completed the whole look with bling sandals and a pink wallet! For my hair here, I did a fish braid with some volume on my crown area. It’s a fun and easy to wear outfit for everyday use!

I hope you guys loved the 3 looks I created with Max Fashions Spring/Summer 2015 collection. One tip that I would give for a street style look is keeping it simple and yet making a statement with what you wear. Always remember, what you feel comfortable in is what you will make you confident enough to flaunt it. Go on, be experimental… if you think something wouldn’t look good on you but you love how it looks on others, don’t think twice and just buy it. 🙂 You would rock it anyway with your persona 🙂

If you loved these 3 looks, don’t forget to share them on your social media as I’m part of this #MaxRoadToParis campaign and I need your support and love! 🙂

Also, do visit the nearest Max Fashions store to check out their latest Spring/Summer 2015 collection and show us what you liked/ bought on Twitter,Facebook and Instagram with hashtag #MaxSummer15FavouriteTJD and don’t forget to tag us in the post.
