Hello 💚 START HERE if you’re new here.

My name is Princy Mascarenhas, a Toronto-based beauty, fashion & lifestyle blogger.

My handle is @thejeromydiaries because I started a blog back in 2014 and we all thought of our blogs as diaries at that point okay? lol Jeromy is my husband’s last name and I included that because he encouraged me to start blogging.

👩🏻‍💻 I work full time as a Frontend Engineer Team Lead at a Canadian company

👧🏻 I grew up in Bangalore, India and started a blog back in 2014. From 2014 to 2017, I got to work with some amazing brands in India during my blogging journey 🇮🇳

📚✈️ In 2017, I moved to Toronto, Canada to study more and although my full time job turned out the way I liked it, I have since, struggled to find a way to pursue my part time blog / content creation here.

😳 Imposter syndrome was at its peak when I was in a new place with new faces. It was the “Am I good enough to share my thoughts with a new audience?” that crept my mind always. No one really talks about the changes you see in how people approach you when you’re not from here. And obviously the fact that you have to work 10x times harder if you’re an outsider.

🗣️ It took awhile for me to even get used to conversations/ networking.

✨ 2023/2024 = me in my delulu era where I finally find joy and peace in everything I do and this phase won’t be going anywhere soon lol This is where we all shine 😜

WHAT YOU WILL FIND HERE:

💫 I am short (5’2) so you will find petite fashion finds/ tips

💫 I’m brown - so brown skin friendly beauty finds. This doesn’t mean I won’t share skincare that is useful for other skin types. It’s just that if I find something that ALSO works great for brown skin, I’ll be shouting it out loud and sharing it with you lol
